Call for Papers: Review of Psychopedagogy Volume 13, No. 1 (2024)

The Review of Psychopedagogy is an peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge across a diverse range of disciplines within the fields of education and psychology. Our mission is to provide an international platform for researchers to disseminate their latest findings, innovative approaches, and insightful analyses to the broader academic community.

We are now accepting submissions for the upcoming issue of Volume 13, No. 1. We invite researchers to contribute original manuscripts that will enrich scholarly discourse and have a significant impact on the development of their respective fields.

For this issue, we are particularly interested in the following themes:

Enhancing educational outcomes for neurodiverse learners
This theme seeks contributions that explore effective strategies, interventions, and educational practices tailored to support neurodiverse learners. Submissions may address inclusive teaching methods, curriculum adaptations, and approaches to fostering a positive learning environment for students with diverse cognitive profiles.

Mental health in educational settings
We invite research that investigates the mental health challenges faced by students and educators within school settings. Topics may include preventive measures, therapeutic interventions, and policies aimed at promoting mental well-being in schools.

Technology-enhanced learning for special education
This theme focuses on the integration of technology in special education. Submissions may explore the role of digital tools, assistive technologies, and online platforms in enhancing learning outcomes for students with disabilities.

Parent and caregiver involvement in special education
We seek papers that examine the role of parents and caregivers in supporting the education of children with special needs. Topics may include collaborative strategies, family-centered interventions, and the impact of parental involvement on educational success.

Cultural and social dimensions of inclusive education
This theme invites explorations into the cultural and social factors influencing inclusive education. Submissions may address issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion in education, with a focus on marginalized groups and culturally responsive teaching practices.

Assessment and evaluation in inclusive classrooms
We are interested in research that examines assessment strategies and tools used in inclusive classrooms. Submissions may focus on formative and summative assessment methods, the challenges of assessing diverse learners, and innovative approaches to evaluation in special education.

Teacher training and professional development for inclusion
This theme calls for studies on the training and professional development of educators in inclusive settings. Submissions may explore the effectiveness of teacher preparation programs, ongoing professional development, and the role of reflective practice in fostering inclusive education.

Policy and practice in special education
We invite papers that analyze current policies and practices in special education. Topics may include policy implementation, legal frameworks, and the impact of governmental and institutional policies on the education of students with disabilities.

Social and smotional learning (SEL) for students with disabilities
This theme focuses on the development and implementation of social and emotional learning (SEL) programs for students with disabilities. Submissions may include case studies, program evaluations, and research on the effectiveness of SEL interventions.

Global perspectives on inclusion and disability
We encourage submissions that offer a global perspective on inclusion and disability in education. Comparative studies, international case studies, and research on global trends and challenges in inclusive education are particularly welcome.

These topics aim to foster the exchange of knowledge and promote evidence-based practices in the fields of special education, inclusion, and educational psychology.
